It’s an event for adults who are open-minded enough to be in a casual space where every conversation is about sex, sexual health, and reproductive health. Remember, you can be a virgin and be sexually liberated!
Last year, it was for women and it was fun. Sexually liberated women came together in one space to discuss sex, learn about sexual health, ask questions, get answers, share experiences, and have a good time. Anyone who was present would tell you it was memorable. This year, we decided to include men. We know men listen to Sex and Sanity too, and we thought it would be fair to have a merger that will cater to providing the same event from last year to both sexes. I hope you are coming!
As you can see from the flyer, the event is set to happen on November 28, 2020, in East Legon. The fee is just GH₵ 50.00 and fortunately or unfortunately, we can only cater to a limited number of people. For this reason, we are working on a first-come-first-served basis. You really wouldn’t want to miss this! For someone who likes being in the midst of people who openly talk about their sexuality and discuss experiences, I am the most excited. If you listen to Sex and Sanity, you must be there! We have a number of topics lined up to discuss and educate about.
A mental health practitioner will be present to speak on life after sexual abuse and navigating a healthy and pleasurable sexual relationship as a victim of abuse. She will speak on how to navigate a relationship or marriage with a partner who is a victim and answer any questions you might have relating to the topic. I cannot wait for that! We have speakers from Women First Digital who will talk and educate us on contraceptive usage, safe abortion services and answer questions. We’ve invited certified doctors (both male and female) to the event to answer questions that anyone might have about sexual and reproductive health. And we have Verifie Health (let’s have a quickie) on board as a sponsor to provide STI screening at a discounted price to our audience at the event.
Odo Asem will also be there to sell all kinds of sex toys, lingerie, and adult products. Why would you want to miss this?
Measures will be taken to ensure that what happens OR what is said at Silk and Tits stays at Silk and Tits. Also, wearing of nose masks is mandatory. If you don’t have one, we will give you one. We care about everyone’s health!
If you aren’t sexually liberated, we don’t need you at the event. If you are judgmental and you love to slut-shame, we don’t need you at the event. If you also can’t stand the idea of people owning their sexuality and speaking up about it, don’t come to the event. We will be filtering out our audience because we wouldn’t want any of such people around us. We will refund your money if we have to!

Hi Ama.. because it’s a residential area, Troskis will only take you somewhere close. The best thing you can do is to get to Shiashie and order a Bolt or Uber from there. It’s 5cedis or 6 cedis from Shiashie. I hope that won’t be an issue?
